Lubbock Meals on Wheels is in need of volunteer drivers, both regular and substitute, to deliver meals each day. You can deliver one day a month, one day a week, or whatever schedule will work for you.
Each route can be delivered in approximately one hour. You can be the one who makes a difference in someone’s life by delivering meals to the homebound, elderly or disabled in our community.

The 2013 Medicare Part D Open Enrollment begins Oct. 15 and runs through Dec. 7.

University Medical Center is looking for volunteers to be popcorn poppers. Popcorn is provided each day in the Crossing’s Café. Hours are flexible and training is provided. For more information, contact Susan at 806-775-8760.
Medication Cleanout: Bring unused, expired or no longer needed medications to the drive through at Texas Tech Physicians Medical Pavilion at 3601 4th St. on Saturday, Oct. 26, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Managed disposal prevents poisonings, abuse, misuse and protects the environment.
